I recently had an out of town guest visiting DC for a few days and I took the opportunity to play tourist in my own city. We went on a "DC after Dark" tour of the memorials by moonlight. It all started off nicely enough...and then it rained. Not just a sprinkle...the sky opened up and poured on the top level of the open top double decker bus and drenched us! Luckily the rain stopped by the time we got to the first monument and we happily hopped off and snapped these photos.
