Wedding Belles

Long before there was Pinterest I kept an obscurely titled folder on my desktop where I stored images of how I imagine my wedding...the table settings, the favors...and yes THE DRESS! And that dress is pictured below...backless, lacey and fabulous by Monique Lhuillier.

Trunk Show {September 27-29}

Remember back when I played dress up in the beautiful gowns at Carine's Bridal Atelier? Well I'm happy to report that the boutique has been named "The Best Bridal Retailer in DC" and the bridal experts at CBA, located in Georgetown, are hosting a Bliss by Monique Lhuillier trunk show this Thursday through Saturday, September 27th - 29th.  

Monique specifically created the Bliss line to make her same aesthetic more accessible to brides by her choices in textiles and embroideries and this event provides a special incentive for  attending brides (10% off when you mention this blog WHAT I WORE: tip to toe!). 

The newest Spring 2013 collection will be featured at the trunk show as well as a selection of her best sellers from previous collections, like my dream dress pictured above! Appointments are necessary.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact the store at 202-965-4696. Regular store hours are Monday 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. All viewings are by appointment only.
