NYFW or Bust

So it doesn't look like my plan to attend NYFW is going to work out. 

I can't justify the $800-1,100 cost of attending (press registration $80+lodging $250+roundtrip train to NYC $100+car service to Brooklyn after FNO $65+Meals for 3 days $200+Cabs for 3 days $125) and I'm facilitating a huge company wide event at work the day before so I'd be a zombie once I arrived for the shows. Better luck next year, I'm hoping to be sponsored next time around. 

Anywhoo, if you've been following along I've spent the last two weeks putting together my daily outfits using just 20 items from my closet. I consider this intense training for the styling marathon that is Fashion Week. It has been a great strengthening exercise (shopping is my cardio) for my styling muscles and I can't wait to put them to good use for Fashions Night Out here in DC.
